Good news or bad news?

The good news is that I’ve finally heard from Student Fees and they’ve decided that they’re ‘not sure’. It looks like my persistence has paid off and they’re coming around to my way of thinking. Great! Only why take so long! If I’d been a normal young student that would be fine, but for me, it’s too much to organise, in too short a time. I’m going to have to postpone for a year. However, I will continue to persevere with the student fees, and get them to agree that next year will be okay. Truth is, as much as I hate to admit it, in a way it’s a good thing. It will give me more time to sort out my finances and be better prepared for any obstacles or discussions I might encounter. Sad but true, every week I postpone puts me in a better financial position. I’ve already told UCL it’s more likely to be next year, and I’ve also told UCLan I’ll be with them this year.
